NOVELTY - Preparing nickel sulfide/graphene nano composite material involves carrying out hydrothermal process which involves ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide in water to obtain graphene oxide solution. Sulfuric acid is added to the solution and mixture is ultrasonically mixed to obtain mixed liquid. The mixture is heated to 160-260 degrees C for 18-30 hours in a kettle and taken out for washing to obtain three-dimensional columnar reduced graphene oxide. The reaction is carried out at 190-220 degrees C for 20-24 hours. USE - Method for preparing nickel sulfide/graphene nano composite material used in lithium-ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method for preparing nickel sulfide/graphene nano composite material that has good circulation stability, good conductivity and high specific energy density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing nickel sulfide/graphene nano composite material involves carrying out hydrothermal process which involves ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide in water to obtain graphene oxide solution. The combining process involves mixing nickel salts, sulfur and urea. The mixture is dissolved in water and organic solvent to prepare mixed solution. The three-dimensional columnar reductive graphene oxide is kept into the solution at 3-60 degrees C for greater than or equal to 1 day, preferably for 1-2 days. The mixed solution and the three-dimensional columnar reductive graphene oxide are transferred into a hydrothermal reaction kettle and reacted at 160-240 degrees C for 18-30 hours, preferably 180-210 degrees C for 20-24 hours. The product is washed and dried to obtain nickel sulfide/graphene nano composite material.
