NOVELTY - A graphene load metal complex acetic acid hydrogenation catalyst comprises graphene as carrier active component and auxiliary active component. The active component comprises platinum, lead, rhodium and ruthenium. The auxiliary active component comprises molybdenum, rhenium, cobalt, nickel, zinc and tin. USE - Graphene load metal complex acetic acid hydrogenation catalyst used for preparing ethanol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst reduces temperature and pressure of the reaction, and improves conversion of acetic acid and selectivity of target product ethanol. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene load metal complex acetic acid hydrogenation catalyst comprising adding graphene oxide into deionized water, completely scattering to prepare 0.1-2 g/L oxidized graphene aqueous solution, adding metal salt, stirring at 20-35 degrees C to obtain graphene oxide and metal salt mixed solution, adding 0.01-0.1 mol/L surfactant, stirring, adding 0.1-5 mol/L alkali liquid, transferring to constant temperature oil bath, slowly dropping hydrazine hydrate at speed of 0.02-1 mL/s, controlling temperature to 65-120 degrees C, filtering and drying.
