NOVELTY - Modified strontium ferrite composite photocatalyst preparation involves preparing graphene oxide by using a modified Hummers method, and preparing cobalt-modified rhodium by a hydrothermal method. The ferrite, 4.85 g bismuth (III) nitrate pentahydrateand 0.75 g potassium chloride are weighed and dissolved in 50 ml distilled water with stirring ultrasonically for 60 minutes to obtain suspension A. The theoretically produced bismuth oxychloride is added to the obtained suspension with ethylene glycol as a dispersing agent with stirring ultrasonically for 30 minutes to obtain mixed solution B. The theoretically obtained strontium oxychloride is added in 0.5-3.0% mixture B with stirring ultrasonically for 30 minutes to obtain a mixture C. USE - Method for preparing graphene, bismuth oxychloride or cobalt modified strontium ferrite composite photocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the graphene, bismuth oxychloride or cobalt modified strontium ferrite composite photocatalyst in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with low energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The obtained mixture C is transferred to a 100 ml reactor liner at 180 degrees C for 16 hours and then cooled at room temperature, suction filtered, washed with distilled water, dried at 80 degrees C for 12 hours to obtain the graphene, bismuth oxychloride or cobalt modified strontium ferrite composite photocatalyst. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic X-ray diffraction pattern of the graphene, strontium oxychloride or cobalt modified strontium ferrite composite photocatalyst.
