NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide modified diatomite fireproof insulating plate comprises e.g. taking graphite powder and sodium nitrate in triangular flask, placing the triangular flask in ice water bath, adding sulfuric acid solution into the triangular flask, keeping the temperature of the system lower than 4 degrees C, uniformly stirring, uniformly and slowly adding potassium permanganate powder to the solution, controlling the temperature of the system to be lower than 15 degrees C, reacting for 1 hour, heating the system temperature to 35 degrees C, stirring and reacting for 2 hours. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide modified diatomite fireproof insulating plate. ADVANTAGE - The plate: is easy to obtain, has simple preparation method and convenient to operate, has high compressive strength and tensile strength, good thermal insulation performance, and low rate of volume water absorption rate.
