NOVELTY - Preparing graphene quantum dots, involves forming functionalized graphene nano platelet dispersion, and separating functionalized graphene nano platelet and graphene quantum dot from the dispersion. The functionalized graphene nano platelet dispersion is deposited, by adding a salt to the functionalized graphene nano platelet dispersion. The precipitated graphene nano platelet is seperated to obtain a supernatant of the dispersion in which graphene quantum dots are dispersed. The graphene quantum dot comprises one quantum dot. USE - Method for preparing graphene quantum dots (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene quantum dots with excellent thermal, the electric conductance, elasticity function.
