▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composition comprises 35-80 mol% copper oxide and 10-35 mol% zinc oxide on 5-35 mol% alumina, and is provided on a support chosen from aluminum oxide, zeolite, metal oxide, carbon, carbon-based support, graphene, graphene-based support, and metal organic framework support. USE - Composition is used as catalyst for conversion of syngas into usable liquid n4-25C hydrocarbons and n1-9C alcohols (claimed), preferably paraffins, olefins, and their derivatives, and alcohols. ADVANTAGE - The composition can be made in a one-pot high mass production method, which is practical and scalable, and produces variety of reaction products by making minor adjustments, such as by adjusting catalyst composition, reaction temperature and/or reaction pressure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (i) preparation of copper oxide/zinc oxide supported on alumina, which involves combusting metal precursors, glycine and water to form a powder and annealing the powder. The metal precursors are chosen from copper(II) nitrate or copper hydroxide, zinc nitrate or zinc oxide, and aluminum nitrate or aluminum hydroxide; and (ii) conversion of syngas into usable liquid n4-25C hydrocarbons and n1-9C alcohols, which involves contacting the composition with a syngas under syngas reaction conditions including hydrogen/carbon monoxide syngas with a feeding rate ratio of 2/0.5 at 150-250degrees Celsius under a pressure of 10-70 bar to produce liquid hydrocarbons. The composition is used as copper oxide/zinc oxide/alumina catalyst (CuO(40)/ZnO(30)/Al2O3(30)), copper oxide/zinc oxide/alumina catalyst (CuO(60)/ZnO(30)/Al2O3(10)), and copper oxide/zinc oxide/alumina catalyst (CuO(75)/ZnO(15)/Al2O3(10)).
