NOVELTY - An article (100) comprises a composite material (120) that includes a polymer matrix; and hybrid filler particles which comprise GO and ceramic thermally conductive material having a thermal conductivity of greater than or equal to 2 W/(m.K), and are distributed within the polymer matrix in less than or equal to 15 wt.%. USE - An article e.g., electrical device such as electrical power cable, electrical cable termination or splice, or capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite materials exhibit enhanced dielectric breakdown strength and energy storage capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) electrical device comprising greater than or equal to 1 electrical conductor (110); and insulation layer which is disposed over the electrical conductor and comprises composite material (120) that includes polymer matrix; and hybrid filler particles comprising GO and ceramic thermally conductive material; and (2) forming composite material which involves mechanically mixing GO and ceramic thermally conductive material to form a hybrid filler particles of ceramic thermally conductive material and GO; and distributing the hybrid filler particles with a polymer matrix to form a composite material.
