NOVELTY - Flexible thermoelectric material comprises copper selenide nanoparticles, and graphene nanosheet coated around the copper selenide nanoparticles. USE - Flexible thermoelectric material used in thermoelectric device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The flexible thermoelectric material has excellent thermoelectric performance and flexibility, high conductivity of copper selenide, high Seebeck coefficient and high conductivity of graphene material, good flexibility, improved phonon scattering capability, and reduced thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Flexible thermoelectric material comprises copper selenide nanoparticles, and graphene nanosheet coated around the copper selenide nanoparticles. The copper selenide nanoparticles is represented by linear formula that is Cu2 xSe, where x is less than or equal to 0.25. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing flexible thermoelectric material, which involves: (A) dissolving the copper salt and the selenium source in water to obtain the first solution; (B) heating and melting the organic oxygen acid to decompose, adjust the pH, and obtain the second solution; and (C) mixing the first solution and the second solution, adding initiator, until reaction is left to stand to obtain solid product, after solid-liquid separation is the flexible thermoelectric material.
