NOVELTY - The preparation of computer casing material, involves (A) mixing high impact polystyrene, polyethylene wax and diatomaceous earth in high-mixer for 1-2 hours and grinding to obtain base material, (B) adding modified graphene to toluene, ultrasonically dispersing for 20-30 minutes, adding hydroxymethylcellulose, maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene and polybutylene terephthalate resin, heating with stirring at 140-180 degrees C for 10-20 minutes to obtain material (I), carrying out activation treatment of base material, adding composite modifiers, antioxidant and flame retardant, mixing under nitrogen protection for 2-4 hours and heating at 130-155 degrees C to obtain material (II), mixing material (I) and material (II) in screw extrusion molding machine, adding lubricant and bentonite heat stabilizer, controlling screw extruder temperature at 160-195 degrees C, speed at 190-220 rpm for 1-2 hours and extrusion molding. USE - Preparation of computer casing material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of computer casing material with light weight, low shrinkage rate, high temperature resistance and excellent flame retardance.
