NOVELTY - Use of nano-activated carbon and graphene is claimed for inhibiting human papillomavirus. USE - Nano-activated carbon and graphene used for for inhibiting human papillomavirus (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nano-activated carbon and graphene have good clinical applicability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing nano-activated carbon modified with hydroxyl group, which involves adding 40-100 wt.% dispersant to 45 wt.% nano-activated carbon, where dispersant is selected from chemical compounds having carboxylic acid functional group, preferably methylbutanoic acid or 2-butenoic acid at ultrasonic power of 2-2.4 kilowatt, frequency of 15.8-20 kilohertz and temperature of 40-60 degrees C for 8-8.5h hours, adding 8-20 wt.% surface modifier to obtained dispersion under ultrasonic condition, adding sodium metaperiodate as oxidant to obtained product at ultrasonic frequency of 19.5-21.3 kilohertz and temperature of 40-45 degrees C for 7-10 hours where modifier is chemical compound having hydroxyl functional group, preferably ethanol or phenol, and filtering, washing and drying obtained product; and (2) a method for preparing graphene modified with hydroxyl group, which involves stirring 2g graphene powder with 250ml concentrated sulfuric acid on ice-water bath and 1g sodium nitrate, adding 6g potassium permanganate to obtained product at a temperature below 20 degrees C, heating obtained product for 35 degrees C, while stirring for 30 minutes, adding deionized water to obtained product, mixing obtained product for 20 minutes, adding hydrogen peroxide to obtain bright yellow solution, filtering obtianed solution, adding 5% hydrochloric acid to obtained product, washing obtained product with deionized water, drying filter cake in vacuum oven at 60 degrees C to obtain graphene oxide, dispersing 100mg graphene oxide in 100ml water to obtain homogeneous yellow transparent colloidal solution, treating obtained dispersion with 6g of sodium hydroxide and 5g monochloroacetic acid for 3 hours to convert epoxy groups into carboxyl groups, filtering obtained solution in hot condition, evaporating excess water, and drying obtained product in vacuum oven at 65 degrees C to obtain carboxylated graphene oxide.
