NOVELTY - A fine carbon fiber contains cylindrical graphene of nest shape and having diameter of less than 100 nm, and does not contain iron group element. The outermost wall of the cylindrical graphene is partially substituted by nitrogen. USE - Fine carbon fiber used in electrode of biopolymer detection devices and balloon catheter of medical devices (all claimed). Biopolymer detection devices include but are not limited to biochips, DNA chips, protein chips, sugar chain chips, cell chips, etc. ADVANTAGE - The fine carbon fiber has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, mechanical characteristics, chemical reactivity and biochemical reactivity, and provides highly efficient and safe biopolymer detection device.
