▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Metallurgical dust-modified activated carbon comprises 10-20 wt.% converter sludge, 15-25 wt.% converter dry dedusting fine ash, 1-3 wt.% phosphoric acid, 25-50 wt.% activated carbon, 20-30 wt.% absolute ethanol, 3-9 wt.% water and 0.1-0.3 wt.% graphene. The particle size of the converter sludge is 0.6-2.5 mu m. The particle size of the fine dust of the converter dry dedusting is 1.2-6.5 mu m. The phosphoric acid is analytically pure. The activated carbon is industrially pure. The absolute ethanol is analytically pure. The water is deionized water. The graphene is industrially pure. USE - The activated carbon is useful for degrading formaldehyde gas (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The activated carbon: expands the high performance of converter sludge and converter dry dust fine ash; has high value-added utilization channels; realizes the new idea of control waste by waste; saves energy; and has environmental protection. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the metallurgical dust-modified activated carbon, comprising (i) mixing converter sludge, the converter dry dust fine ash and absolute ethanol, and mechanically alloying using a high-energy ball mill under a hydrogen atmosphere, where the rotation speed is 500-800 revolutions/minute (rpm) for 8-16 hours to obtain type I composite powder, (ii) mixing the type I composite powder obtained in the step (i) with phosphoric acid and water, and using high-energy ball mill for performing mechanical alloying treatment in an air atmosphere at speed of 400-600 rpm for 36-72 hours to obtain type II composite powder, (iii) mixing the type II composite powder obtained in the step (ii) with activated carbon and graphene, mechanically alloying using a high-energy ball mill under helium atmosphere at speed of 250-500 rpm for 24-48 hours to obtain metallurgical dust-modified activated carbon for degrading formaldehyde gas.
