NOVELTY - A method of preparing graphene is provided. The method includes: adding the graphite and the aromatic compound to the solvent, and performing the homogenization to obtain the graphene suspension; and the graphene suspension is filtrated to obtain graphene, wherein the aromatic compound is a plane shape and is able to form the charged form. A supercapacitor including the graphene prepared by the method is also provided. The productivity of the graphene (layer numbers less than or equal to 3) manufactured by this method is up to more than 90%, and the graphene has a large lateral size, high quality, and high electric conductivity. The supercapacitor manufactured by the method has ultrahigh area capacitance.
