NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-modified ultra-low-density proppant involves uniformly mixing graphene, olefin monomer, crosslinking agent divinylbenzene and initiator, obtaining a monomer mixture in which graphene and aromatic ring component form pi - pi assembly, adding the monomer mixture to aqueous solution of dispersant, heating, granulating, crosslinking, curing, obtaining microsphere precipitate, filtering and washing. USE - Preparation of graphene-modified ultra-low-density proppant used in deep well water fracturing, and oil and natural gas fracturing and mining application. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene-modified ultra-low-density proppant having high strength and thermal conductivity, and excellent high-temperature characteristics.
