NOVELTY - Preparing titanium diboride-based nano composite cutter material comprises e.g. (i) preparing graphene-silicon carbide whisker hybrid suspension, and (iii) mixing and dispersing nano-carbide ceramics and nano-oxide ceramics uniformly to obtain nano-ceramic suspension, (iv) adding titanium diboride into the nano-ceramic suspension and mixing uniformly to obtain nano-composite powder suspension, adding hybridization suspension of graphene-silicon carbide whisker added into the nano-composite powder suspension for ultrasonic dispersion to obtain mixed suspension A, ball milling mixed suspension A, drying and sieving to obtain titanium diboride-based nano-composite cutter material powder, (v) adding the titanium diboride-based nano-composite cutter material powder into mold, flattening, and press molding to obtain preform, and then sintering the preform of the preform in the furnace body to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing titanium diboride-based nano composite cutter material. ADVANTAGE - The material: has synergistic toughening phase, large specific surface area and provides support for silicon carbide whiskers and nanocomposite ceramics, increased contact area of silicon carbide whisker graphene and material matrix, excellent compatibility, synergistic strengthening and toughening mechanism, high-density, high-performance, and improved bending strength, Vickers hardness and fracture toughness, mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing titanium diboride-based nano composite cutter material comprises (i) mixing 2.5-7.5 wt.% nano carbide ceramic, 2.5-7.5 wt.% nano oxide ceramics, 0.1-0.5 wt.% graphene, 0.5-5 wt.% silicon carbide whiskers, and titanium diboride (balance amount), mixing graphene and silicon carbide whiskers uniformly to obtain graphene-silicon carbide whisker hybrid suspension, and (iii) mixing and dispersing nano-carbide ceramics and nano-oxide ceramics uniformly to obtain nano-ceramic suspension, (iv) adding titanium diboride into the nano-ceramic suspension and mixing uniformly to obtain nano-composite powder suspension, adding hybridization suspension of graphene-silicon carbide whisker added into the nano-composite powder suspension for ultrasonic dispersion to obtain mixed suspension A, ball milling mixed suspension A, drying and sieving to obtain titanium diboride-based nano-composite cutter material powder, (v) adding the titanium diboride-based nano-composite cutter material powder into mold, flattening, and press molding to obtain preform, and then sintering the preform of the preform in the furnace body to obtain final product.
