▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A graphene nanocomposite material comprises a single layer reduced graphene oxide (rGO) as a base material, and a nanomaterial containing titanium oxide nanoparticles attached to the base material. The nanocomposite material absorbs visible light of full visible spectrum. USE - Graphene nanocomposite material for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants e.g. imidacloprid, nitenpyram, acetamiprid (all claimed), and neonicotinoid pesticide pollutant. ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite material has excellent photocatalytic performance due to improved utilization to visible light. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene nanocomposite material comprises a single layer reduced graphene oxide (rGO) as a base material, and a nanomaterial containing titanium oxide nanoparticles of formula: TiO2-x, where x is 0.05-0.45 attached to the base material. The nanocomposite material absorbs visible light of full visible spectrum. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the nanocomposite material, which involves using graphene oxide and butyl titanate as raw material to prepare titanium dioxide/rGO by hydrothermal reaction, and calcining at high temperature.
