NOVELTY - Method for preparing 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid involves reacting a material containing 2,5-furandimethanol and an alkali source in the presence of a catalyst. The catalyst comprises an active component and a carrier. The active component is carried on the carrier. The active component is chosen from noble metals. USE - The method is useful for preparing 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid. ADVANTAGE - The method realizes efficient preparation of ,5-furandicarboxylic acid by adjusting the amount of alkali and temperature and has excellent industrial application prospect.
