NOVELTY - Polyvinyl alcohol-chitosan-graphene oxide sponge comprises 10-15 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol, 1-3 wt.% chitosan, 6-10 wt.% inorganic acid, 15-20 wt.% formaldehyde, 1-3 wt.% foaming agent, 0.1-1 wt.% graphene oxide and water. USE - Polyvinyl alcohol-chitosan-graphene oxide sponge (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The water absorption rate of polyvinyl alcohol-chitosan-graphene oxide sponge is above 1410%, and the maximum is 1920%. The wet compression modulus is between 40KPa and 60KPa, which is suitable for soft hardness and good compression resilience. The water absorption capacity of the sponge can be regulated, and the ability of absorbing organic liquid and the wet compression modulus are controlled by regulating the content of the components in the sponge. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of polyvinyl alcohol-chitosan-graphene oxide sponge, which involves dissolving 1700-2400 pts. wt. polyvinyl alcohol in hot water at 80-95 degrees C to obtain an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, again adding 1-3 wt.% chitosan, 0.1-1 wt.% graphene oxide, 1-3 wt.% foaming agents, 6-10 wt.% inorganic acids, 15-20 wt.% formaldehyde and water, stirring and mixing continuously, pouring the mixture into a mold, and curing the molded mixture to obtain polyvinyl alcohol-chitosan-graphene oxide sponge.
