NOVELTY - Water-based flame-retardant coating comprises water-based acrylate emulsion, magnesium hydroxide. The water-based acrylate emulsion is nanoemulsion. The diameter distribution range of the emulsion particles is 1-100 nanometer. The surface of the magnesium hydroxide is coated with nano-alumina and interlayer between magnesium hydroxide and nano alumina. The interlayer is calcium alginate. USE - Water-based flame-retardant coating. ADVANTAGE - The water-based flame-retardant coating has strong interaction force, and excellent flame retardant effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing water-based flame-retardant coating, which involves dispersing magnesium hydroxide powder in calcium alginate solution, and spray-drying to moisture content of 5-10% to obtain primary coated magnesium hydroxide powder, mixing and reacting primary coated magnesium hydroxide powder with organic aluminum, filtering, and drying to obtain secondary coated magnesium hydroxide powder, dispersing water-based acrylic emulsion and secondary coated magnesium hydroxide powder uniformly, and encapsulating to obtain product, water-based acrylate emulsion is nanoemulsion, particle diameter distribution range of the emulsion is 1-100 nanometer.
