NOVELTY - Golf ball (10) comprises a core formed from a reaction of a core mixture comprising a first masterbatch ranging from 50-90 wt.% of the core mixture, a graphene masterbatch ranging 1-10 wt.% of the core mixture, barium sulfate ranging 1-5 wt.% of the core mixture, a peroxide ranging 0.2-1 wt.% of the core mixture, and zinc bis(pentachlorothiophenol) ranging 0.2-1 wt.% of the core mixture, a mantle layer arranged over the core layer, a cover arranged over the mantle layer. USE - Golf ball. ADVANTAGE - The golf ball has improved the quality of nanofiller dispersion in a rubber matrix, enhance the durability, speed, spin characteristics, and aerodynamics of a golf ball without affecting its hardness, reasonable to assume that the durability of a golf ball having a dual core of this design is also experience a dramatic increase in crack durability based on this improvement to the dual core, reasonable to assume that the addition of graphene/carbon nanotube (CNT) in the inner core could provide a durability enhancement to the overall golf ball, but this study only focused on the outer core.
