NOVELTY - Method for microwave-induced intensification of iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials to degrade dyes or pesticides involves (a) adding a nitrogen source to the suspension of carbon-based materials, and forming a mixed solution after adsorption equilibrium, suction filtering and freeze-drying, transferring the obtained black mixture, and adding nitrogen, washing the obtained black powder with ethanol and deionized water, suction filtering, freeze-drying, (b) adding ferrous sulfate solution into a three-necked flask, adding sodium borohydride, washing the product with absolute ethanol and freeze-drying, and finally sealing and storing under the protection of nitrogen, (c) coupling iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials with microwave degradation dyes and pesticides, adding iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials to the beaker, adding distilled water and dyes or pesticides, taking samples and determining the concentration of dyes or pesticides. USE - The method used for microwave-induced intensification of iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials to degrade dyes or pesticides. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the absorption of microwave energy and the utilization rate of zero-valent iron, rapidly degrades dyes and pesticides, has fast reaction rate, high efficiency, is easy to recover after use, has no secondary pollution, is simple, economy, and has strong operability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for microwave-induced intensification of iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials to degrade dyes or pesticides involves (a) adding a nitrogen source to the suspension of carbon-based materials, and forming a mixed solution after adsorption equilibrium for 12-36 hours, suction filtering and freeze-drying, obtaining the black mixture for later use, transferring the obtained black mixture to an atmosphere furnace, and adding nitrogen to heat for 30-120 minutes in a static state at 300-500 degrees C, washing the obtained black powder with ethanol and deionized water, suction filtering, freeze-drying for 12-36 hours, (b) adding ferrous sulfate solution into a three-necked flask, adding sodium borohydride dropwise under the protection of nitrogen at room temperature while stirring and reacting for 20-60 minutes, washing the product with absolute ethanol and freeze-drying for 10-40 hours to prepare iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials, and finally sealing and storing under the protection of nitrogen, (c) coupling iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials with microwave degradation dyes and pesticides, adding iron-modified nitrogen-doped carbon-based materials to the beaker, adding distilled water and dyes or pesticides, and placing in a microwave reactor for reaction for 500-2000 W, setting the target temperature to 70-90 degrees C, reacting for 2-15 minutes, the pH of the reaction system is 3-12, after the reaction starts, taking samples at a preset time and determining the concentration of dyes or pesticides.
