NOVELTY - A s-triazine-ring-modified graphene-polyurethane foam composite has a macroporous structure and comprises 1-5 %mass s-triazine ring. USE - -Triazine-ring-modified graphene-polyurethane foam composite (as biological carrier) is used in anaerobic biological treatment system of refractory organic pollutants such as azo dye, nitroaromatic hydrocarbon, and chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbon for adsorbing redox mediator flavin secreted by microorganisms (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The s-triazine-ring-modified graphene-polyurethane foam composite can effectively adsorb extracellular flavin secreted by microorganisms, thus solving the problem of flavin loss in the biological reaction system, and is obtained by simple process. The graphene and flavin in the composite can be used as electron-transfer medium to accelerate the anaerobic biological reduction rate of refractory organic pollutants by microorganisms. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (i) preparation of the s-triazine-ring-modified graphene-polyurethane foam composite, which involves dissolving 2-chloro-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine in dimethyl sulfoxide, adding it to deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing, heating and stirring until completely dissolved, adding the aminated graphene-polyurethane foam composite material comprising 6-10 %mass graphene to the above mixed solution, reacting at 90-100°C for 9-10 hours, and drying to obtain a graphene-polyurethane foam composite modified by s-triazine ring. The mass percentage of aminated graphene-polyurethane foam composite material and 2-chloro-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine is 1-5 %mass; and (ii) usage method of the s-triazine-ring-modified graphene-polyurethane foam composite in anaerobic biological treatment system of refractory organic pollutants, which involves improving anaerobic biological removal rate of refractory organic pollutants by adsorbing the redox mediator flavin secreted by microorganisms using the s-triazine-ring-modified graphene-polyurethane foam composite.
