NOVELTY - Usage of pre-purified graphene oxide paste for preparing porous graphene involves oxidizing a mixture of natural graphite flakes, sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, stirring with deionized water, separating graphite oxide, removing the upper aqueous phase, adding deionized water, mixing, naturally cleaning until the graphite oxide solution changes from bright yellow to dark brown, adjusting the concentration of the lower layer, mechanically stirring or ultrasonically dispersing, freeze-drying, calcining, removing the surface oxides, filtering, washing and vacuum-drying. USE - Usage of pre-purified graphene oxide paste for preparing porous graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and direct preparation of porous graphene using pre-purified graphene oxide paste within short period of time, and effectively controls the pore size and the number of pores of graphene by the calcination temperature and the impurities carried by regulation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Usage of pre-purified graphene oxide paste for preparing porous graphene involves using natural graphite flakes of different sizes as raw material, adding specific amount of concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate to the mixture, oxidizing the graphite to obtain graphite oxide, adding deionized water to the graphite oxide, stirring well, separating the graphite oxide from the aqueous phase, removing the upper aqueous phase, leaving still the lower sedimentation, adding deionized water, mixing, naturally cleaning until the graphite oxide solution changes from bright yellow to dark brown and no further delamination after natural sedimentation, collecting the lower layer of viscous pre-purified graphite oxide slurry, adjusting the concentration, mechanically stirring or ultrasonically dispersing to obtain pre-purified graphene oxide paste, freeze-drying to obtain a pre-purified graphene oxide powder, calcining the pre-purified graphene oxide powder at high temperature under protective gas to obtain an oxide-supported porous graphene powder, soaking the calcined porous graphene oxide powder in dilute hydrochloric acid at room temperature for several hours, removing the surface oxides, filtering, washing several times, adjusting the pH to 7 and vacuum-drying.
