NOVELTY - The preparation method of ( alpha )-nickel sulfide/graphene composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide in a mixed solution of ethylene glycol and water, ultrasonically treating to obtain 6-0 mg/ml graphene oxide solution, adding nickel chloride to graphene oxide solution, adding thiourea, ultrasonically dispersing uniformly to obtain a mixed solution, transferring the mixed solution to a reaction kettle, hydrothermally reacting at 180-220 degrees C to obtain the product, centrifuging the product, washing with deionized water for several times, and drying. USE - Preparation of ( alpha )-nickel sulfide/graphene composite material used in electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of ( alpha )-nickel sulfide/graphene composite material which improves the catalytic efficiency of electrochemical hydrogen evolution, effectively improves the stability of the catalyst, and is used for long term in an alkaline environment.
