NOVELTY - Preparing composite material comprises dispersing the powder containing the zinc source into a solvent to obtain first precursor solution, adding the first precursor solution to the ion exchange resin to exchange metal ions in the first precursor solution with cations in the ion exchange resin to obtain second precursor solution and preparing composite material by thermally treating the second precursor solution under an inert atmosphere. USE - The composite material useful for light emitting diode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Because the zinc oxide nano particles or metal ion doped zinc oxide particles are loaded in the three-dimensional graphene, the conductive capability of the composite material can be improved. The agglomeration between the particles can be avoided. The rigidity and ductility of the graphene are improved, so that the film forming uniformity of composite material is improved.
