NOVELTY - Method for preparing three-dimensional graphene/elastomeric thermal interface material, involves (a) mixing elastic materials with thermally conductive fillers to obtain a modified elastic materials, and mixing the modified elastic material and curing agent to obtain a crosslinked material, (b) using carbon-based materials as carbon sources and metal substrates as templates, and using chemical vapor deposition to obtain three-dimensional graphene, (c) coating the upper and lower surfaces of the three-dimensional graphene using a polymer material to obtain pre-protected three-dimensional graphene, (d) impregnating the crosslinked material into the pre-protected three-dimensional graphene, and solidifying to obtain a pre-protected three-dimensional graphene/elastic material, and (e) removing the polymer material covering the surface of the three-dimensional graphene sponge from the pre-protected three-dimensional graphene/elastic material to obtain the interface material. USE - The method is useful for preparing three-dimensional graphene/elastomeric thermal interface material. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the overall performance of the prepared thermal interface material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a three-dimensional graphene/elastomer thermal interface material obtained by the above-mentioned method, having a thermal conductivity of 1.50-6 W/mK.
