USE - The method is useful for preparing reduced graphene oxide-iron oxide nanoparticles-polyethylene glycol functional composite. ADVANTAGE - The method: shortens the overall process time; and improves the yield of poly(maleic anhydride-alt-1-octadecene) composite and reduced graphene oxide-iron oxide nanoparticles-polyethylene glycol functional composite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing reduced graphene oxide-iron oxide nanoparticles-polyethylene glycol functional composite comprises (i) mixing and dissolving poly(maleic anhydride-alt-1-octadecene) and NH2-PEG-OCH3 in a dichloromethane solution at a molar ratio of 1:1, subjecting the dissolved solution to a catalytic reaction under microwave radiation at 80-95 degrees C for 3-4 hours in presence of metal iron salt and 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride in a mass ratio of 1:3-5, adding (2-(thiophen-2-ylmethyl)phenyl)boronic acid as catalyst, and continuing to catalyze the microwave radiation at 45-65 degrees C for 4-7 hours to obtain reaction solution, transferring the obtained reaction solution to a constant temperature water bath at 50-65 degrees C, stirring at 150-200 revolutions per minute for 20-35 minutes, and taking out the solution and blow drying with nitrogen to obtain crude solid powder, dissolving the crude solid powder with deionized water, and placing in a dialysis bag with a molecular weight cut-off of 800-14000 for 36-48 hours, removing unconnected reactants and impurities, and vacuum freeze-drying at -25 to -30 degrees C to obtain white powder of poly(maleic anhydride-alt-1-octadecene) composite, and storing at -20 degrees C, and (ii) mixing graphene oxide-iron oxide nanoparticles and prepared poly(maleic anhydride-alt-1-octadecene) composite in a mass ratio of 1:8-10, magnetic stirring at 800-900 revolutions per minute for 3-5 minutes, carrying out ultrasonic treatment for 30-40 minutes, adding 2-chlorophenylboronic acid as catalyst, reacting it under microwave radiation to catalyze the reaction, where the temperature of the microwave is less than or equal to 80 degrees C, and the microwave time is 5-10 minutes, carrying out grafting reaction, centrifuging at 3500-4500 revolutions per minute for 5-6 minutes to remove unstable particles or aggregates, collecting the supernatant and washing the supernatant with a 100-120 nm filter to remove excess poly(maleic anhydride-alt-1-octadecene) composite to obtain final product.
