The smelting device comprises a chamber (13) carrying molten silicon material and a heating and temperature control device arranged outside the chamber. The discharge port is arranged on the side of the chamber. A stirring device (15) is provided in the chamber. The material of the chamber is corundum and/or graphite. USE - Preparation device of silicon-based electrode material used for preparing lithium ion battery negative electrode material (all claimed).
