NOVELTY - Method for preparing drug loaded-fluorescent graphene quantum dots (GQDs) embedded mesoporous silica nanostructure, involves adding emissive GQDs on a silica coated N-cetyltrimethylammonium bromides (CTAB) surfactant, determining a completion of hydrolysis and condensation of the added aminated silica precursors over the GQDs attached CTAB surfactant, obtaining a fluorescent GQDs embedded silica nanostructure by centrifugation, removing the CTAB surfactant from the fluorescent GQDs embedded silica nanostructure to obtain the fluorescent GQDs embedded mesoporous silica nanostructure, and obtaining the drug loaded-fluorescent GQDs embedded mesoporous silica nanostructure. USE - The method is used for preparing drug loaded-fluorescent graphene quantum dots (GQDs) embedded mesoporous silica nanostructure for image guided solid tumor ablation as powerful nanotheranostic agent for localized tumor imaging/diagnosis and therapy.
