NOVELTY - Preparation of rapid response/recovery type graphene-cobalt titanate composite sensitive material, involves (i) dispersing oxidized graphene in ethanol to obtain oxidized graphene ethanol solution, (ii) dissolving cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate in ethanol, stirring to obtain red transparent solution, adjusting pH value to obtain reddish-brown solution, (iii) adding reddish-brown solution to titanium tetrabutoxide, stirring to obtain red transparent sol, (iv) adding oxidized graphene ethanol solution to red transparent sol, stirring to obtain a sol, (v) drying sol and calcining. USE - Preparation of rapid response/recovery type graphene-cobalt titanate composite sensitive material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material is sensitive to ethanol gas, and also has fast response/recovery capabilities. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of rapid response/recovery type graphene-cobalt titanate composite sensitive material, involves (i) homogeneously dispersing oxidized graphene having concentration of 0.5-1.5 mg/mL in ethanol to obtain an oxidized graphene ethanol solution, (ii) dissolving cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate in ethanol, stirring at room temperature to obtain a red transparent solution, adjusting the pH value of the red transparent solution to 2.0-5.0 to obtain a reddish-brown solution, (iii) adding reddish-brown solution to titanium tetrabutoxide, stirring evenly to obtain a red transparent sol, (iv) adding oxidized graphene ethanol solution to the red transparent sol, stirring to obtain a sol, (v) drying sol and then calcining at 600-700 degrees C for 1-3 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere furnace, and obtaining rapid response/recovery type graphene-cobalt titanate composite sensitive material. The molar ratio of cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate and titanium tetrabutoxide in the reddish-brown solution is (0.003-0.007):(0.003-0.007). The mass ratio of graphene oxide to titanium tetrabutoxide in oxidized graphene ethanol solution is (3.125-50):(1.02-2.38) mg/g. The concentration of cobalt(II) ions is 0.0003-0.0007 mol/mL.
