NOVELTY - Rubber sole material with flame retardant and toughening properties comprises natural rubber, nitrile rubber, modified aramid fiber, isolating agent, lubricant and white carbon black. The modified aramid fiber is prepared by (i) immersing graphene in 40-60 %mass hydrogen fluoride (HF) aqueous solution, stirring for 18-24 hours, adding hydroxyl aluminum, continuously stirring for 8-12 hours and subjecting the obtained product to ultrasonic treatment and drying to obtain the aluminum-containing few-layer graphene, (ii) uniformly dispersing the aluminum-containing few-layer graphene in ethanol in an addition ratio of 0.8-1.2 g:10 ml to obtain an aluminum-containing few-layer graphene suspension and (iii) adding melamine salt of aramid pulp and pentaerythritol phosphate to the aluminum-containing few-layer graphene suspension in a mass ratio of 1:(0.05-0.15), raising the temperature to 50-60 degrees C, stirring for 12-24 hours, cleaning, carrying out suction filtration and drying. USE - As rubber sole material with flame retardant and toughening properties. ADVANTAGE - The rubber sole material has improved flame retardant property and mechanical property and provides a good way to improve shoe sole materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Rubber sole material with flame retardant and toughening properties comprises 70-80 pts. wt. natural rubber, 20-30 pts. wt. nitrile rubber, 2-4 pts. wt. modified aramid fiber, 2-4 pts. wt. isolating agent, 2-4 pts. wt. lubricant and 1-3 pts. wt. white carbon black. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the rubber sole material involving (1) mixing the natural rubber and the nitrile rubber, putting into a banbury mixer, heating at 100-105 degrees C, banburying for 8-12 minutes, adding white carbon black, raising the temperature to 115-120 degrees C, continuing to perform banburying for 3-5 minutes and exporting to obtain a banbury mixture, (2) mixing the banbury mixture, the modified aramid fiber, the isolating agent and the lubricant and uniformly mixing in a rubber mixer to obtain a mixed material, (3) feeding the mixed material into an open mill and thinning for 2-3 times to obtain an open mill mixture, (4) feeding the open mill mixture into a granulator to carry out granulation to obtain rubber particles with flame-retardant and toughening properties and (5) pouring the rubber particles into a shoe mold, and performing a hot-press forming process to obtain the rubber sole material.
