NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene dispersion involves (a) providing cellulose acetate flakes or powders, (b) swelling the cellulose acetate flakes or powders in 1-3C alcohol, (c) adding 30-50 wt.% acetic anhydride, based on the total weight of the mixture, and (d) adding graphene nanoplatelets. USE - Preparation of graphene dispersion used for composite material, which is used for producing flexible electronics such as flexible electrodes or high frequency electromagnetic interference shields (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to electromyography, security screening, astronomy, imaging, chemical analysis, wireless receiver and transmitter, microwaves, mobile phone, radio, etc. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, economical and environmentally-friendly, and efficiently produces graphene dispersion. The graphene dispersion provides biodegradable and biocompatible composite materials with high conductivity, and excellent flexibility and abrasion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material, which involves impregnating a porous matrix with the graphene dispersion.
