NOVELTY - Preparation of modified graphene oxide column comprises preparing graphene oxide solution, pretreatment and oxidation of graphene modified silica capillary column. USE - The method is useful for preparing modified graphene oxide column (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene oxide solution comprising (i) taking graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid in the ratio of 1:50, adding to the three neck flask, placing in a ice water bath cooling to 0 degrees C, ultrasonic stirring for 1.5 hours, adding 35 pts. potassium permanganate, controlling temperature to 25 degrees C, stirring for 3 hours, (iii) adding 120 pts. deionized water, heating at 100 degrees C for 1 hours, stopping the ultrasonic, (iv) to the reaction system, adding 30 pts. deionized water and hydrogen peroxide, allowing to stand and reducing for 20 hours, (v) washing with 4% potassium hydroxide solution to neutral, washing with deionized water multi-timed, (vi) taking washed colloid into clean surface, drying at 70 degrees C, grinding, sealing and storage, (vii) taking the graphene oxide, ultrasonic dissolving in N,N-dimethylformamide and, preparing into 5 mg/ml solution, adding 0.5 mg of 1,3-dicyclohexyl carbodiimide.
