NOVELTY - NOVELTY C; The production of composite material involves mixing expanded graphite and concentrated sulfuric acid, adding sodium nitrate, potassium permanganate and potassium dichromate, adding hydrogen peroxide, obtaining bright yellow graphene oxide solution, centrifuging, washing, obtaining brown yellow oxidized graphene sol, dissolving polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide-polyethylene oxide triblock copolymer in water, adding oxidized graphene sol, manganese nitrate solution and potassium permanganate to graphene oxide solution, adding pyrrole, washing, drying and calcining. USE - Production of manganese oxide-chromium(III) oxide-graphene composite material used for negative electrode for lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of composite material with optimal performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The production method of manganese oxide-chromium(III) oxide-graphene composite material involves mixing 0.5 g expanded graphite and 60 ml concentrated sulfuric acid, adding 0.5 g sodium nitrate, slowly adding the mixture of 3 g potassium permanganate and potassium dichromate, stirring overnight, removing the unreacted expanded graphite floating in the upper layer of the solution, pouring the mixed solution into 240 ml distilled water, cooling the beaker, adding 30% of 10 ml hydrogen peroxide, obtaining a bright yellow graphene oxide solution, centrifuging, washing with distilled water 4 to 5 times, obtaining a brown yellow oxidized graphene sol, dissolving 0.5 g polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide-polyethylene oxide triblock copolymer P123 in 100 ml water, vigorously stirring to produce a large amount of foam, adding 1 g oxidized graphene sol, stirring for 30 minutes, transferring the resulting yellow oxide graphene solution to 80 degrees C water bath, adding 6 ml of 50% manganese nitrate solution and 3 g potassium permanganate to the graphene oxide solution, reacting for 10 minutes, adding 0.5 g pyrrole, reacting the mixture in water bath at 80 degrees C for 12 hours, washing, drying to obtain the precursor, transferring the precursor to nitrogen atmosphere tube furnace, and calcining at 1000 degrees C for 2 hours. The weight ratio of potassium permanganate and potassium dichromate is (4-6):1.An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the application of manganese oxide-chromium(III) oxide-graphene composite material in negative electrode for lithium ion battery.
