NOVELTY - Electrochemical device has a clapboard. The clapboard is hermetically connected with the outer package. Two sides of the clapboard are formed with independent cavities. Each cavity is packaged with an electrode assembly and an electrolyte. The electrode assembly in the adjacent cavity is connected in series by the tab. The clap board comprises an ion insulating layer. The water seepage rate of the clapboard is less than or equal to 10-3g/(day.m2.Pa)/3mm. The sealing thickness (T) of the clapboard and the outer package sealing and the sealing width (W) satisfy that (T/W) is more than or equal to 0.01-0.05. USE - Electrochemical device e.g. lithium ion battery for use in electronic device such as electric vehicle, electric tool, energy storage system and mobile phone. ADVANTAGE - The electrochemical device realizes high voltage output, reduces the heating amplitude of the electrochemical devices, and improves the difficulty of the battery management. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an electronic device, which comprises the electrochemical device.
