NOVELTY - Preparing graphene by cleavage comprises (i) cleaning surface of substrate by oxygen plasma without cleaning the surface of the substrate with solvent, (ii) mechanically detaching graphite with tape, and attaching the graphite on the tape to the surface of the plasma-cleaned substrate obtained in the step (i) to obtain tape-graphite-base material, carrying out heat treatment at 80-140 degrees C for 1-30 minutes, and(iii) taking tape-graphite-base material obtained in the step (ii), naturally cooling and peeling of the tape from the substrate to obtain graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene by cleavage. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple; has no need to ultrasonically clean the substrate in a solvent; and improves understanding efficiency.
