NOVELTY - A positive electrode material comprises reduced graphene oxide-supported zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF)-67 derivative. The derivative is a granular structure. The granular structure comprises cobalt nanoparticle core, cobalt nitride, and cobalt tetroxide arranged from the inside to the outside. USE - Positive electrode material used in lithium air battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The positive electrode material has excellent electrochemical catalytic activity. The preparation of the positive electrode material is simple and reproducible. The lithium air battery has excellent performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the positive electrode material, which involves heating ZIF-67-loaded graphene oxide at 600-800 degrees C for 5-7 hours, and keeping under an inert gas atmosphere; and (2) lithium air battery, which comprises separator arranged between positive electrode and negative electrode, and an electrolyte. The positive electrode comprises the positive electrode material and a binder.
