NOVELTY - Preparing graphene modified polyethylene involves dispersing graphene in first organic solvent to obtain graphene dispersion, dispersing silane coupling agent in second organic solvent to obtain hydrophilic coupling agent dispersion, mixing graphene dispersion with dispersion of hydrophilic coupling agent, stirring, heating at 120-180 degrees C under the protection of inert gas, drying in vacuum to remove the organic solvent, and washing to obtain modified graphene. The modified graphene oxide is mixed with high density polyethylene, poly(styrene-butadiene-styrene), polyoxyethylene and filler. USE - Method for preparing graphene modified polyethylene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene modified polyethylene that has good mechanical property and high performance impact strength i.e. 20kilojoule/m2, and meets standard and basic requirement of sliding block. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene modified polyethylene involves dispersing graphene in first organic solvent to obtain graphene dispersion, dispersing silane coupling agent in second organic solvent to obtain hydrophilic coupling agent dispersion, mixing graphene dispersion with dispersion of hydrophilic coupling agent, stirring, heating at 120-180 degrees C under the protection of inert gas, drying in vacuum to remove the organic solvent, and washing to obtain modified graphene. The modified graphene oxide is mixed with high density polyethylene, poly(styrene-butadiene-styrene), polyoxyethylene, filler and stearic acid, and extruded through double screw extruder to obtain plastic master batch. The extruding granulation temperature is 180-230 degrees C. The screw rotating speed is 100-300 revolution per minute.
