NOVELTY - Photothermal material comprises polyacrylonitrile-cobalt-manganese layered double hydroxide (PAN-CoMn LDH) film with a hierarchical structure. USE - The photo-thermal material is useful in seawater desalination and carbon-based material i.e. graphene, biological carbon, high preparation cost, complex synthesis, high molecular polymer material, polypyrrole, and polyaniline. ADVANTAGE - The material has high efficiency of photo-thermal efficiency and evaporation rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparing the photothermal material, comprising (i) dispersing cobalt nitrate in dimethylformamide, then adding polyacrylonitrile, heating and mixing to obtain a spinning solution, (ii) electrospinning the spinning solution to obtain a PAN-Co(NO3)2 fiber membrane, heating and vacuum drying, and cutting, (iii) adding the PAN-Co(NO3)2 fiber membrane obtained in the step (ii) into the 2-methylimidazole aqueous solution, placing the system on a shaker, and adding an aqueous solution of cobalt nitrate into the system during oscillation, shaking the reaction, removing the membrane, and drying overnight to obtain PAN@ZIF-67 membrane, and (iv) placing the PAN-ZIF-67 membrane in the manganese chloride aqueous solution, shaking the reaction, taking out the membrane, rinsing, and drying for overnight to obtain the product.
