NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/epoxy resin composite material comprises e.g. dispersing graphene oxide in water, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain reddish brown or burgundy clear solution, where concentration of graphene oxide in water is 0.05-10 g/l, adding epoxy resin monomer and curing accelerator into the aqueous graphene oxide solution, stirring, adding acidic reducing substance to adjust the mixture pH to 4-5, stirring at low speed, appearing clear and transparent aqueous phase in the upper layer of the mixed liquid, pouring out the aqueous phase, adding water equal to the volume of the resin, stirring, adjusting pH of aqueous phase to 7, pouring the upper aqueous phase, adding lower graphene oxide/epoxy phase into a vacuum oven and vacuumizing to no bubbles in the resin, adding stoichiometric curing agent into the graphene oxide/epoxy resin, stirring, removing air bubbles in a vacuum oven, pouring into the preheated mold and then curing reaction to obtain final product. USE - The composite material is useful in grinding and polishing abrasives fields (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has high strength and high wear resistance: and enhances the holding power of epoxy resin to inorganic fillers using graphene as interface modifier. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene/epoxy resin composite material comprises (i) dispersing graphene oxide in water, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain reddish brown or burgundy clear solution, where concentration of graphene oxide in water is 0.05-10 g/l, (ii) adding epoxy resin monomer and curing accelerator into the aqueous graphene oxide solution in step (i), stirring for 10 minutes, adding acidic reducing substance to adjust the mixture pH to 4-5, stirring at low speed, (iii) appearing clear and transparent aqueous phase in the upper layer of the mixed liquid, pouring out the aqueous phase, adding water equal to the volume of the resin, stirring, adjusting pH of aqueous phase to 7, pouring the upper aqueous phase, (iv) adding lower graphene oxide/epoxy phase in step (iii) into a vacuum oven at 90 degrees C and vacuumizing at -100 KPa to no bubbles in the resin, and (v) adding stoichiometric curing agent into the graphene oxide/epoxy resin obtained in step (iv), stirring, removing air bubbles in a vacuum oven with a vacuum of -100 KPa, pouring into the preheated mold and then curing reaction to obtain final product.
