NOVELTY - Octafluorobiphenyl-containing material (I) is new. USE - (I) is useful in lithium-ion battery cathode material for lithium-ion batteries (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - (I): has a macroscopic sheet structure similar to graphite and thus the lithium-ion can be well embedded, and each unit of octafluorobiphenyl and cyclohexanedione imine unit can provide 15 lithium storage active sites; has simple and easy operation; prepares lithium-ion battery cathode material with improved energy density, multiplying power performance and cycle stability; has micro-porous structure with controllable shape and size; provides ideal channel for diffusion of lithium-ion and electrolyte solution, which can improve the utilization rate of the active site of the material and thus improve the specific capacity; and has macroscopic morphology of layered structure of nano-scale lamella stacking and the layer spacing of the layered structure is 0.33-0.34 nm.
