NOVELTY - The method for improving cycle performance of nickel oxide cathode material involves (a) preparing graphene oxide, (b) weighing nickel acetate, heating at a temperature of 500-800 degrees C and a speed of 5 degrees C/minute for 2-10 hours, carrying out heat preservation, taking out and cooling to room temperature to obtain nano-nickel oxide, and (c) adding 2-10 %mass graphene oxide to nano-nickel oxide. USE - Method is useful for improving cycle performance of nickel oxide cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables rapid, simple and easy preparation of nickel oxide cathode material with improved cycle performance and high charge specific capacity of 411.7 mAh/g, and is suitable for industrial large-scale production.
