NOVELTY - Activated carbon-based material comprises a carrier and an active component carried on the carrier. The carrier includes activated carbon loaded with graphene. The active components include zero-valent iron and antibacterial metals. USE - Activated carbon-based material used in antibacterial and antiviral protective equipment and water purification filter elements (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The activated carbon-based material has good conductivity is formed between graphene and zero-valent iron and between zero-valent iron and antibacterial metal to improve efficiency of water purification reaction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing activated carbon-based material, which involves: (A) mixing dispersion liquid containing activated carbon and graphene with plant extract including tuber crops or grains; (B) heating in a water bath to obtain a mixed dispersion; (C) sequentially subjecting the mixed dispersion to solid-liquid separation and roasting to obtain graphene-loaded activated carbon; (D) loading zero-valent iron on graphene-loaded activated carbon to obtain graphene and zero-valent iron-loaded activated carbon; and (E) loading the antibacterial metal on the activated carbon loaded with graphene and zero-valent iron to obtain the activated carbon-based material.
