NOVELTY - Preparing flame-retardant omni-directional conductive sponge material comprises: (i) placing sponge substrate into pre-soaking liquid, and pre-soaking for 2-10 minutes; (ii) subjecting pre-soaked sponge substrate into electroplating solution to electroplate; and (iii) plating electroplated sponge substrate with conductive cloth to obtain flame-retardant omni-directional conductive sponge material. The pre-soaking liquid comprises 160-200 g/l conductive flame retardant and 80-100 g/l ammonium citrate. The electroplating solution comprises 200-280 g/l nickel sulfate, 10-20 g/l nickel chloride and 25-35 g/L boric acid. The conductive flame retardant is composed of 15-20 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 3-3.5 pts. wt. phosphomolybdic acid, 0.1-0.3 pts. wt. nickel hydroxide and 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. glucose. USE - The method is useful for preparing flame-retardant omni-directional conductive sponge material. ADVANTAGE - The prepared flame-retardant omni-directional conductive sponge material has excellent flame-retardant performance, improved conductivity and high market competitiveness.
