NOVELTY - An iron atom doping-induced octahedral structure-molybdenum disulfide (1 T-MoS2)/graphene composite material comprises molybdenum disulfide doped and induced by using non-noble metal iron. USE - Iron atom doping inducing 1 T-MoS2/graphene composite material for preparing hydrogen by electrically catalyzing and decomposing water. ADVANTAGE - The iron atom doping inducing 1 T-MoS2/Graphene composite material has rich pores, large surface area, high 1T content, good conductivity, stable structure, excellent electrolytic water hydrogen evolution activity and good cycle stability. The method uses non-noble metal iron as inducer, uses cheap and easily obtained raw material, through hydrothermal method at relatively low reaction temperature, and has excellent electric catalytic decomposition water hydrogen production performance and good circulation stability. It has simple technique, strong operability, wide raw material source, low cost, and can be produced in large scale, meets the environment requirement. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the iron atom doping-induced 1T-MoS2/graphene composite material, comprising (1) weighing certain amount of graphene, dissolving in deionized water, ultrasonic auxiliary dispersing for 2 hours at room temperature, (2) weighing a certain amount of molybdenum source and sulfur source, adding graphene dispersion liquid, stirring for 30 minutes at magnetic force to make it fully dissolved, (3) weighing a certain amount of iron source, dissolving in deionized water, under the action of magnetic stirring, slowly gradually adding the mixed solution, then ultrasonically processing for 30 minutes to make it fully dissolve and disperse, (4) transferring the mixed solution to PTFE high pressure reaction kettle, taking out after high temperature reaction in the blast drying box, cooling the reaction kettle to room temperature, and collecting the black product, and (5) washing the black product by deionized water and absolute ethyl alcohol, centrifugally washing for 2-3 times, and drying in vacuum drying box.
