▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A metal-carbon composite comprises porous scaffold comprising carbon nanotube(s), graphene and graphene oxide, and 1 wt.% or more metal nanoparticles arranged on the porous scaffold. The composite has density of 1 g/cm3 or less. USE - Metal-carbon composite is used as catalyst, and used for molecular detectors, hydrogen gas sensors and energy storage devices, and for capitalizing antimicrobial and bactericidal activity. ADVANTAGE - The macroscopically-sized three-dimensional monolithic metal-carbon composite having nanoscale struts or pore walls with high metal composition, low density, uniformity, and the overall dimension and shape of the monolith. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of metal-carbon composite, which involves providing an aqueous mixture comprising carbon nanotube(s) and graphene oxide, and metal salt(s) or metal nanowire(s), freezing the mixture to obtain a cryo-composite, drying the cryo-composite to obtain a dry composite, and reducing the dry composite to obtain the metal-carbon composite.
