NOVELTY - Composite material comprises 60-70 pts. wt. polypropylene base, 5-8 pts. wt. modified graphene, 10-15 pts. wt. carbon fiber, 8-15 pts. wt. modified zinc oxide, 13-17 pts. wt. filler, 5-8 pts. wt. compatibilizer and 1-2 pts. wt. antioxidant. Modified graphene is a co-reduction reaction treatment of graphene oxide and silver nitrate solution. The modified zinc oxide is zinc nitrate hexahydrate, sodium hydroxide, hexamethylenetetramine and sodium fluoride in a weight ratio of 7:1:1:2, and then using de-ionized water to dissolve. USE - Composite material used to extend the scope of polypropylene application. ADVANTAGE - Composite material has antistatic property, and good mechanical workability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Composite material comprises 60-70 pts. wt. polypropylene base, 5-8 pts. wt. modified graphene, 10-15 pts. wt. carbon fiber, 8-15 pts. wt. modified zinc oxide, 13-17 pts. wt. filler, 5-8 pts. wt. compatibilizer and 1-2 pts. wt. antioxidant. Modified graphene is a co-reduction reaction treatment of graphene oxide and silver nitrate solution. The modified zinc oxide is zinc nitrate hexahydrate, sodium hydroxide, hexamethylenetetramine and sodium fluoride in a weight ratio of 7:1:1:2, and then using de-ionized water to dissolve. The ratio of the mixture and deionized water is 1g:20-25mL, stirred at room temperature for 1-1.5 hours, then reacted at 120 degrees C for 10 hours. The reaction product is filtered, washed and dried to obtain modified zinc oxide. The filler is a silver-loaded hollow glass microbeads and carbon black in a weight ratio of 2-3:1. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) method for preparing modified graphene, which involves dissolving silver nitrate in deionized water and ethylene glycol mixture solution in weigh ratio of 1g:100mL:200mL; dissolving graphene in ethylene glycol in weigh ratio of 1g:10mL, for 1 hour, and then in accordance with the volume ratio of 1:2-3; adding mixed solution of silver nitrate to the suspension of enriched graphene, in water bath at 50-60oC for 2-3 hours, under stirring speed of 400 rotstions per minute; adding sodium borohydride solution having a concentration of 0.1mol/L , and using reflux device; heating device at 120 degrees C for 2-2.5 hours, filtering, washing with deionized 3-5 times, and drying to obtain modified graphene; and (2) a method for composite material, which involves mixing polypropylene base, modified graphene, carbon fiber, modified zinc oxide, filler, compatibilizer and antioxidant into the mixer, and mixing for 0.5 hours, then uniformly mixing the mixed material to the double screw extruder, under rotation speed of 40-50 rotations per minute; maintaining the inner temperature of the extruder to 155-160 degrees C, and then 165-170 degrees C, and then 175-180 degrees C, and then 180-185 degrees C; and extruding mixed material by an extruder to obtain composite material.
