NOVELTY - Method for preparing modified graphene oxide involves (i) taking an appropriate amount of graphene oxide for modification, preparing a dispersion of 2 g/l graphene oxide, and dispersing under ultrasonic conditions for 2 hours, (ii) weighing 1000 g graphene oxide dispersion, placing in the reactor and stirring, and heating at 70 degrees C in a water bath, (iii) weighing 4 g vinyltriethoxysilane and adding to a reaction kettle by dripping for 0.5 hour, and (iv) continuing to react for 0.5 hours after the dripping, leaving still to cool down, and ending the test. USE - Method useful for preparing modified graphene oxide for preparing slump-preserving mother liquor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method participates in the synthesis of slump-preserving polycarboxylic acid mother liquor, effectively weakens the viscosity-increasing effect of graphene oxide on concrete, increases the utilization rate of graphene oxide, and ensures the slump retention performance of graphene-modified concrete over a period of time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a formulation for preparing slump-preserving mother liquor using modified graphene oxide, comprising 300 g polycarboxylic acid macromonomer, 240 g modified graphene oxide dispersion, 2.75 g hydrogen peroxide, 69 g liquid (A), 112.4 g liquid (B), 35 g neutralization liquid and 160 g water, (or) 300 g polycarboxylic acid macromonomer, 240 g modified graphene oxide dispersion, 2.75 g hydrogen peroxide, 80 g solution (A), 103.5 g solution (B), 35 g neutralization solution and 240 g water.
