NOVELTY - Graphene/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) thermal composite material comprises sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and Tween-80 (RTM: Polysorbate 80) as sufactant. USE - The graphene/poly(methyl methacrylate) thermal composite material is useful for LED lens materials (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene/PMMA thermal composite material is simple in preparation, easy in operation and requires less equipments. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for synthesizing graphene/PMMA heat conducting composite material by in-situ polymerization, comprising (i) taking methyl methacrylate monomer, graphene, benzoyl peroxide and surfactant as raw materials in the ratio 100:0-2:0.05-0.15:0.01-0.03 to obtain mixture; (ii) adding mixture into magnetic stirrer, stirring for 15-30 minutes, dispersing ultrasonically for 20-40 minutes and homogenizing in high speed dispersion machine for 5-20 minutes; (iii) dispersing mixture, adding 0.05-0.15% benzoyl peroxide and stirring uniformly and polymerizing for 30-40 minutes; and (iv) casting prepolymer obtained in step (iii) into a mold and polymerizing at 40-45 degrees C for 8-10 hours at low temperature and polymerizing at 100 degrees C for 2 hours at high temperature.
