NOVELTY - A radiation cooling composite film protective material comprises a polyethylene film, and a graphene oxide layer and a polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer layer arranged in order on a surface of the polyethylene film. USE - Radiation cooling composite film protective material used for chemical protection applications (claimed) e.g. as protective clothing for army and sanitary working staff against chemical toxic agent, biological warfare agent and mustard gas. ADVANTAGE - The protective material is safe, comfortable, prepared by economical process, and has lightweight and radiation cooling effect due to use of the copolymer layer. The layer-by-layer stacking structure of graphene oxide effectively blocks the penetration of chemical toxic agents, and has high emissivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the protective material, which involves (i) coating an acetone dispersion liquid of graphene oxide on surface of polyethylene film to form the graphene oxide layer on the surface of polyethylene film, and (ii) coating the polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer solution on the surface of the graphene oxide layer.
